The Apple iPhone will be gaining a Xenon flash addition to its basic camera technology via Snapture.
Despite receiving deserved plaudits for its many technological advances, the iPhones's built-in camera remains its achilles' heel as it is only rated at 2.1MP and, in addition, the mobile is bereft of many additional features which are taken for granted on other handsets. This new flash addition, which also include red-eye reduction, arrives in a sleeve case. The system also features a multi-touch gesture zoom.
One of the most interesting features that accompanies the flash system is QuickView which, according to the company, "...allows you to view, enlarge and delete recent pictures directly on the viewfinder. This cuts the average photo taking session in half, by saving the hassle of having to exit the camera app and enter Camera Roll when users want to see or delete a recent picture."
