Next generation G2 Android to be launched in January?

Reports have it that the next generation of Android mobile phones will be launched in January. To be known simply as the G2, the new Android will feature a range of updates that may not be included within a new forthcoming update for G1 phones - the G2 will reportedly include MMS and video facilities.

The Cell Phones Signal website says that the new G2 will include video calling via a new, front facing, camera. Other features will apparently include: the Android OS, fast data transfer via 3G (plus EDGE and GPRS), full touch screen, Enterprise capable, WiFi for distant Internet connections, a 5MP camera complete with autofocus and flash, sync with PC, stereo Bluetooth (which was never fully implemented on the G1 phone), a memory card slot that can take up to 16Gb of memory, mobile backup,  Instant Messaging, music and video player.
