Redshift has released two new Bluetooth adaptors, one for the Apple iPhone and the other for phones sporting a 3.5mm jack.
The adaptors allow you to listen to music streamed via your mobile device, through the adaptors and into a Hi-Fi unit, car stereo or a pair of headphones. The iPhone adaptor is known as a RXS BTM-3303 and it supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles. The device, which weighs just 4.5g, also adds a remote control facility which allows you to play, pause and skip tracks using your speakers or headphones.
The alternative RXS BTM-0903 unit is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant class 2 and supports an A2DP profile that allows you to stream music directly to a single Bluetooth accessory. The adaptor is charged separately from your device via USB.
The adaptors provide up to 10 hours of listening time and up to 150 hours of standby time. they are priced at £29.95 each.
