Apple iPhone to gain International Childrens Library

The Apple iPhone can now access the International Children's Digital Library under the umbrella of a newly released app, the program allows the selection of books from the master collection which means there are thousands of children's stories from sixty countries available in English and their native language. This is no small addition to the iPhone content, The International Children's Digital Library is the world's largest collection of children's literature freely available on the net, according to the Intomobile website.

The service allows you read the stories on- or off-line. If you decide to read the stories on-line you will also have access to the full library of over 3,000 titles which are available in 48 languages covering a total of 60 countries. In addition, you have the option of how to view the pages themselves: as a single or dual page view. The service also takes advantage of the iPhone's built-in accelerometer.
