LG's new flagship fashion device features a full touch-screen display like the original Prada model, as well as a wealth of new features that include a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, faster internet access, a better camera, slow motion video recording, DivX, Wi-Fi and video calling.
The Prada KF900 is LG's second joint venture with the Italian fashion label. It looks very similar to the original model, with its sleek black fascia and Prada logo, but also has a slide-out keypad, making the device a fraction thicker.
While the first Prada phone was EDGE-enabled, the KF900 offers HSDPA at 7.2Mbps and the camera resolution has been enhanced from two to five megapixels. LG says it has also improved the user interface by adding active flash UI technology as well as haptic feedback.
Although LG has held sway with the technological improvements, Prada has obviously been managing the phone's fashion-focused pre-loaded content, which includes a Prada Fall/Winter 2008 Lookbook, Prada phone animation films and a selection of wallpapers illustrating themes from past Prada design collections.
