Many of you will be looking to buy a new smartphone this Christmas. Two of the top models on offer are the Blackberry Storm and the 8900 Curve. Both have received their fair share of attention and plaudits, but which one should you plump for?
The 8900 Curve is based on the more traditional smartphone form with its physical QWERTY keyboard, which is why many people choose a smartphone in the first place. A trackball is also included for navigation. The TFT screen packs in 480x360 pixels and comes with a 3.15-megapixel camera with a built-in flash plus a microSD card slot and aGPS.
The BlackBerry Storm also provides you with a 480x360 pixel TFT display but this one is a touch-screen with SurePress technology so you will have a virtual keyboard on the screen. You also get GPS and a similarly specified 3.2-megapixel camera plus a lot more. A strong selling point is the handset's interface, which has received a lot of good reviews. We would encourage you to get down to your nearest high street and try them both out. Take the other specifications as read and base your choice on the interface. Go for whichever one you like best and feel most comfortable using.
