A new smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard has been unveiled by Samsung. Called the Saga, the new device is due to be released some time before Christmas and will arrive with a full array of features.
Apart from the keyboard, the Saga includes a touch-screen that spans a full 2.55 inches. The quad-band handset also includes Wi-Fi for long distant connections to the internet. You also get an optical mouse.
A full suite of applications is included for those looking for Office usability. The Saga will feature Microsoft's Office Mobile Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Windows Mobile Device Centre for Vista OS and Microsoft Active Sync 4.5.
Additional features for the new phone include a built-in camera. The camera's specification is not particularly exciting, at only two megapixels, according to a recent Samsung press release. However, you do receive Windows Media Player Mobile, Bluetooth and a microSD slot in which you can expand the internal memory up to 16GB.
