Early reports of the Sony Ericsson T700 having a pre-Christmas release appear to be true. Fans of the classic T610 and T630 mobile phones will be queuing up for a chance to grab the latest handset in a series which established the company's reputation.
The T700 is aimed at the mid-range market and mixes a good interface with plenty of additional features to make the new phone attractive to today's mobile buyers.
Features will include a slim and solid chassis with an aluminium finish. Data transfer is based upon GSM, EDGE and (for swift movement of music, video and pictures) HDSPA.
Despite only featuring 25MB of internal memory, reports from the GSM Arena website say that most retailers will bundle the phone with a memory card of some sort. Entertainment is handled by a media centre. Bluetooth is present for external, short-range connections to headsets and RDS is used for the FM radio.
