Opera mobile browser receives update

The Opera Mini mobile browser has recently received an upgrade to version 4.2

The program is a popular Internet browser and has been included in many top smartphones currently on sale on the market from the likes of Blackberry and HTC.

The improvements have improved both the software's facilities and its performance.

For example, you can personalise the program by changing its skin. This is, in many respects, a retrograde step but a popular one because this feature was originally seen in version 3.

Next, the browser has been speeded up. Because the company has opened up a new server in the US, the strain has been significantly reduced within other servers. This means that the effect will be felt in the UK, improving operational speed.

Finally, the upgrade means that more video content will become available and the Notes function will become more portable via Opera Link.
