Softbank and Sharp to release the Aquos Fulltouch 931SH

Softbank and Sharp are about to release a new mobile phone that features a very high resolution screen of 1024 x 480 pixels which is crammed into a 3.8in of viewable space. This is a very high resolution indeed. In fact, it's almost the same resolution as a decent laptop. Squeezing that lot into an even smaller screen, however, will make for a superb display. It's not surprising, therefore, that the phone also includes a TV tuner.

Other features include 3G for fast data transfer of images, music and video plus a built in camera which is reportedly rated at 5.2MP - a very good specification. You also, however, receive an included image stabiliser to reduce problems with camera shake, according to he Engadget website. A microSD card slot is featured to expand the internal memory capacity. However, it's currently unknown as to what that figure might be.
