Samsung unveils new Symbian smartphone

A powerful smartphone has been announced by Samsung that is packed with a variety of features. The Samsung I7110 is a slim candybar, measuring just 12.9mm thick, operating on Symbian S60 v.3.2. As well as boasting HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, an eight-way optical mouse promises to further enhance the internet experience. Happy snappers will be pleased to find a five-megapixel camera onboard complete with smile shot and blink detection, while video can be captured in VGA at 30fps and QVGA at 120fps.


Other features include on-board GPS and while there is no official word as to whether the device will be launched in the UK, the fact that it comes preloaded with pedestrian navigator with maps for London, would suggest it has every chance. With the FM transmitter, drivers will also be able to enjoy voice navigation via their cars speakers.
