Motorola has officially announced the launch date of the forthcoming smartphone, the MOTO Q11. The new mobile phone will include a QWERTY keyboard for those users who prefer to use keys when either emailing or texting on a frequent basis.
The smartphone also includes WiFi for distant use of Internet services plus Bluetooth 2.1 for more location based wireless use for accessories. The quad band system, based on the popular Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, only uses the slower EDGE technology for data transfer. It does use a wide range of audio formats, however, such as MIDI, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, WAV, WMA, WAX and WMV. A camera is built in with an average quality specification of 3MP. It does, however, include LED flash and a 8x zoom.
Other features include USB and microSD ports - raising possible memory up to 32Gb. Sized at 117mm x 64mm x11.7 mm, the handset features 450 minutes of talk time and 195 hours of standby time.
