Flash memory developers SanDisk now have the proud title of possessing the world's largest mobile memory card capacity. Mobile phone users will be able to increase their memory capacity by 16GB with the aid of a microSDHC memory card or a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card. MicroSDHC cards are compatible with most mobile phones, while Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards are purposefully built for Sony Ericsson handsets.
With the likes of the Samsung i8510 sporting up to 16GB of onboard memory, by inserting one of SanDisk's new cards, users will have more storage space than ever before to store their music, videos and other multimedia files. SanDisk's 16GB microSDHC card is available now with a recommended retail price of £45 (excluding VAT) while the M2 card will cost around £60 (ex. VAT). Both cards come with a five-year limited warranty.
