Sennheiser announces the new VMX Office headset

Sennheiser has announced the release of a new Bluetooth headset called the VMX Office. The unit arrives with a base station. It is this unit that connects to the mobile phone, computer or land line. A light-weight design, the VMX Office can be switched from use between different types of technologies by touching a button on the headset.

The unit includes ActiveGard, a featured technology that reduces any sudden increase in volume automatically to protect your hearing. The technology is pretty quick - reportedly, you cannot detect that the feature is in operation. An associated technology know as VoiceMax has the ability to restrict or dampen background noise that might interfere with your call, according to the Slashphone website. Finally, when you open the headset it powers up and then, when closed, powers back down to save energy.

It features 5 hours of talk time with a standby time of over 100 hours.
