The Vertu style phone brand has announced the Signature mobile phone with the high speed, 3G, data transfer technology added. The brand, created by Nokia, has been undergoing a technology and a design revamp and the Signature is the first product of the change.
The design will also include WiFi and, says reports, GPS - which begins to position the luxury edition handset alongside the more serious mobile phones on the market - something which ‘ordinary' luxury phones tend to avoid.
According to the Fried Brains website, the phone does feature its own unique design quirk, a SIM-card drawer which allows a quick SIM card change without having to remove the battery. The handset is a WCDMA Dual mode dual band (2100 / 850 MHz) and GSM Quad band (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) phone with a QVGA OLED screen packing in 320 x 240 pixels.
