Motorola to release W388 and W396 mobile phones

Motorola has announced the release of two new mobile phones: the W388 and W396. The W388 is a candybar handset that should prove popular with music fans, as it includes a music player with Moto ID to recognise track names. An FM radio is also included.

For those who like to walk around all afternoon with their radio blaring away, they'll be happy to learn that the battery will last a good nine hours of talktime and 16 days on standby.

Expansion is supported via the trusted microSD port. According to the Phones Review website, the microSD slot will get your memory up to 2GB.

The quad-band GSM handset comes with CrystalTalk, which adjusts the audio quality based on ambient noise conditions to provide clear conversations in noisy environments.

The clamshell W396 features a MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, a built-in camera and CrystalTalk technology.
