Sanyo Katana Eclipse mobile phone released in Canada

The new Sanyo Katana Eclipse mobile phone has been released in Canada via Bell Mobility. The new clamshell handset features 10Mb of internal memory and two screens: an external model measuring 1in and an internal screen spanning 2in.

 

According to the Mobile Syrup website, entertainment is supplied via a built-in MP3 player whilst external expansion to headsets and the like is supplied by a Bluetooth 2.0 connection. Expansion of in-built memory can be achieved via the ever reliable microSD card slot. You are able to upgrade the memory via this port to a maximum of 8MP which will hold a variety of multimedia files. You also receive a 2-way speakerphone for hands free calls.

 

A camera is reported to be included however it is believed that the specifications rate it at no more than 1.3MP. This, despite earlier reports that the camera was rated at 2MP.
