LG KS360 mobile phone announced

A new slider mobile phone from LG, the KS360, has been announced at the

CommunicAsia show. A QWERTY-based handset that obviously has been targeted towards the more business-oriented user, the launch model took many observers a-back somewhat due to its garish red and black livery - hardly the most attractive of units. One has to question LG's motives on this one. The handset's keyboard is based on a slide-out design that sits underneath the large screen that spans 2.4in and is of QVGA quality.

According to the Unwired website, the new design includes a 2MP built-in camera and Bluetooth for external connection plus FM radio for entertainment purposes plus a triband GSM and EDGE installation for data transfer.

The initial release market for the LG KS360 is in Asia. Further distribution into Europe accompanied by a suitable price has yet to be announced but we'll keep you posted.
