T-Mobile expand their social networking coverage to their mobile service

T-Mobile has announced that it is about to include the social networking sites, Bebo and Piczo, to its My Social Sites service. This means that T-Mobile subscribers will be able to keep in touch with friends and colleagues whilst on the move as well as uploading images to the sites via their mobile phone.

It costs 5p to post a comment, send a message or receive a friend request and 20p to upload a photo.

The Head of - brace yourself - Beyond Voice new Proposition Development at T-Mobile, Pauline Lunn, told Pocket-Lint that, "More than 800 million people are predicted to use social networks via a mobile phone by 2012. Our customers have told us that they want to stay in touch with their social networks, wherever they are and My Social Sites allows exactly that. By adding Bebo and Piczo to the service we've added two of the industry's most popular sites."
