Sony Ericsson has revealed the F305, gaming oriented mobile phone, the S302 camera oriented handset plus 3 new Bluetooth headsets.
The F305 has been described by company insiders as the "first motion gaming enabled mobile phone". A quad-band handset, the F305 features GSM and EDGE for data transfer. The mobile's screen spans 2in and is surrounded by gaming specific buttons. A built-in speaker, placed on the rear, completes the gaming add-ons. Three games are included: Jockey, Bowling, and Bass fishing. Other features include a FM radio and a music player with track ID. External support is facilitated via a microSD slot and Bluetooth support. It measures 96 x 47 x 14.6mm and weighs 97.5 grams. The handset is slated for an Autumn release.
The Sony Ericsson S302 is being marketed under the Snapshot Series. Again, it is a quad-band phone supporting both GSM and EDGE and has a 2MP camera, FM radio and Bluetooth support plus a microSD slot. Available in winter 2008, it measures 101 x 46 x 11mm and weighs 79 grams.
According to the Intomobile website, the Bluetooth headsets split as follows: the HBH-PV-715, in black or white, is the budget model of the three, the HBH-PV-720 will be available with StyleUp covers for personalisation and the HBH-PV-740 is the top-of-the-line model. It includes a status display, desktop stand and USB charger.
