Nokia 7310 mobile phone - first images

Nokia is working on a new handset - the 7310 looks like a modified 6300. Presumably, Nokia feels that the 6300 candybar mobile phone is so successful, it wishes to continue the model well into the future but, to give the design a bit of a short in the arm, it will release this new variation to maintain its healthy  ‘6300' sales.

Accroding to the Mobilewhack website, the new 7310 variation will run on Symbian S40 and will also feature a 2MP camera. It's display screen spans 2in and will present 262k colours. There is no news of any data enhancements such as WiFi but the handset does promise Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP plus a USB for connectivity. In addition, for ease of use when listening to music, the headset will also include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Both price and release date for the UK has yet to be announced but there has been a rumoured US price of $260 which will roughly equate to £130.
