Nokia E66 and E71 mobile phones - first official photos

Official photographs of both the Nokia E66 and E71 handsets have been found on the Internet, for the first time, which gives an indication of how close both handsets are to a final release - despite the fact that many observers were expecting both handsets to have been launched by now.

The Nokia E66 is a slider with a standard keypad that will probably offer a Symbian system and a 16 million colours display with QVGA resolution. Other expected features include UMTS and HSDPA support along with a 3.2MP camera.

The Nokia E71 has a full QWERTY keyboard. Based on the Symbian system, this candybar handset contains a 3MP camera plus UMTS and HSDPA support for fast data transfer. However, there are still a few unanswered questions regarding the specifications to the mobile phone. For example, it is unknown how much internal memory will be featured.

The final release date and price has yet to be released.
