The new Mobiado is claimed to be the thinnest luxury mobile phone currently on the market. The 105 ZAF is sized at just 10.6mm. Pieces of sapphire crystal were used to construct the phone from front to back. The sliding mechanism for the battery cover is of Mobiado's own design. In fact, the company has its own patent pending on the action.
According to the NewLaunches website, it utilises anodised aircraft aluminium on the chassis which produces a light yet strong frame. Even the associated screws and buttons are constructed from stainless steel. The GSM/dual band WCDMA handset features a 2in display showing 16 million colours with an in-built 2MP camera.
It also includes 1Gb of internal memory plus Bluetooth and a microUSB port. It's in-built music player features MP3, AAC and eAAC+. It should be available in two month's time. Price has yet to be announced.
