Orange?s internet radio device

Orange has entered the UK internet radio market with the launch of the Liveradio device. The device, which is available for £99.99 will give broadband customers access to over 4,000 local, national and international internet radio stations. In order to make the most of the device, customers are encouraged to register at Orange's specially designed Liveradio website. Users will then be able to preset stations, create specialist folders for their favourite tracks as well as add their favourite stations via a ‘drag and drop' function.

Found on the front of the device the Liveradio displays the name of certain songs on its screen allowing users to ‘bookmark' them. The details of that track are then sent to a ‘My Favourites' section on the Liveradio website with an option (if available) to buy the track from the Orange Music Store.

The Orange Music Store has a catalogue of over one million tracks each at a cost of 99p. When an Orange mobile customer purchases a track, the track is automatically be downloaded to both their computer and mobile free of charge.

The Liveradio is available now from www.orange.co.uk/liveradio or from selected Orange retail stores from 1 June.
