S-Series mobile phone - total design style

The new S-Series mobile phone has just been announced. There are style phones and there are style phones and then there's the S-Series. It's not coated in gold or encrusted with diamonds, yet it looks every inch a luxury phone.

It certainly turns its back on the current generation of mobile phones in its design directions, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Yet, this handset, according to the website, Tuvie, still boasts a MP3 player, GPS, Bluetooth and a built-in camera and is certainly pleasing to the eye. Designed by Simon Enever, this slider mobile phone's main body is made from wood, complete with a black acrylic wrap around facia plus brushed aluminium and steel features.

Enever commented that, "Looking at the market, there is a distinct lack of ‘ultra stylish' phones. The few there are lack best features like top quality camera, large screen etc.
I tried to inject ‘my style' into a slightly more than standard slider phone."

No details on price or availability were mooted.
