Yahoo! release Go 3 as a beta for mobile phones

Yahoo has announced the beta version of version 3 of its Go software for mobile phones.

It seems that the breakdown in the proposed takeover of Yahoo by Microsoft has invigorated Yahoo which has now sallied forth with a new version of their Go interface.

Go is an all-in-one software package that allows you to send emails or upload photos or download a map, check stock markets or access news. It's a sort of gateway to the Internet. Yahoo provides a variety of widgets and applets designed for the small mobile form factors. They include Yahoo Maps, Yahoo Mail, Flickr and and Yahoo oneSearch.

The new version of Go, according to WMExperts, adds an integrated, at-a-glance screen and improvements to the oneSearch widget plus an updated design and navigation interface. You also receive full widget support that feature the likes of MySpace and eBay.
