At a skinny 11.8mm, Samsung claims its i200 is the 'most slim and compact' smartphone in the world. Despite its minute frame, the handset manages to squeeze in a 2.3-inch QVGA TFT screen, with a standard keypad. Operating on Windows Mobile 6.1, the i200 runs MS Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Users will receive automatic pop-ups alerting them to whenever they receive an email, and content can also be cut, copied and pasted as you would on a PC.
Although the Samsung i200 only sports a two-megapixel camera, business users will be relieved to find that the device does boast HSDPA speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. A unique ‘light sensor' helps prolong battery life by automatically adjusting the lightness of LCD and keypad depending on your surrounding environment.
The Samsung i200 will be available exclusively from Orange and Carphone Warehouse in June.
