Those folk at T-Mobile don't hang about. No sooner has HTC unveiled their flagship Touch Diamond device, the manufacturer announces its own branded version, the MDA Compact IV. Boasting all the same capabilities as the Diamond, including HTC's new 3D TouchFlo technology, the MDA Compact IV operates on Windows Mobile 6.1, meaning users can enjoy services such as Microsoft Outlook for mobile email. Despite its slim frame, the device also boasts a 3.1-megapixel camera and an ample 4GB of internal memory.
With built-in GPS and AGPS, T-Mobile is also offering a free seven-day CoPilot trial. T-Mobile is pushing its Web‘n'Walk service with the device, claiming its tariffs are ideal for making the most of the MDA Compact IV's HSDPA broadband speeds and Mobile TV.
T-Mobile claims the MDA Compact IV will be available from free on Flext 50 at T-Mobile stores and online at www.t-mobile.co.uk from July, a month after the HTC Touch Diamond goes on sale
