Parrot has teamed up with French designer Andrée Putman to produce a digital photo frame. With built-in Bluetooth technology, photos can be uploaded direct from a mobile, Bluetooth digital camera or PC, or alternatively via an SD card or mini USB cable. The frame automatically resizes the photo to fit the 15cm diagonal LCD screen, while it will also rotate the picture if the frame is turned to a portrait position.
With an internal memory capable of storing over 400 photos, Parrot's frame can be programmed to display each pic in turn, in a slideshow fashion. Parrot claims that its digital photo frame, which sports a minimalist black and white design, is the first in a series of wireless audiovisual products that will boast an artistic design.
With a manufacturer suggested retail price of £249.99, at present the only place you will be able to get your hands on Parrot's digital photo frame is from Few and Far (www.fewandfar.net) in London, when it goes on sale in June 2008.
