O2 trials transparent billing for customers

Currently undergoing trials, O2 is testing a new service which will allow its customers to investigate their billing and account information direct from their own handset.


The service is free but is not currently available to business users or those who have multiple handsets using shared minutes.


 "We have soft-launched a service which allows consumer contract customers to check their remaining minutes, text and data allowances and usage charges since their last bill," said an O2 spokesperson, "This is still in the early stages of roll-out."
