WHSmith is once again selling phones, with the roll out of a range of prepay Orange devices to over 80% of its stores.
The nationwide roll out follows a two and a half month trial in 50 stores around the country that began just before Christmas.
As well as being sold online, prepay Orange devices are now available in 434 of WHSmith's 530 stores.
The retailer is expected to only range Orange devices during the next quarter, but is said to be considering stocking phones from other operators in the future.
Prior to the Orange deal, WHSmith had sold Virgin Mobile handsets until the deal collapsed last year.
