GPS giant Navman has updated its S30 and S50 models by including 3D landmarks of over one thousand buildings in cities across Europe, providing drivers with better points of reference. The S30 3D and S50 3D will also come fitted with a new content and services package called Navman Connect.
Included in this service is Europe's first Local Search service that allows users to locate specific shops and local amenities. S50 3D devices can be connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth that enables an online local search. Users of S30 3D devices, while not Bluetooth compatible, can identify shops and amenities on the Navman Connect desktop software before their journey, downloading the info to their device. Both devices will continue to feature the Speaking Keyboard function that speaks each letter and number as you type, ensuring more accurate results.
The new S-series 3D models will be available from May at leading high street stores and online, with the S50 3D costing £179 (RRP) and the S30 3D £129 (RRP).
