A whole year is a long time to wait for a phone, especially as we were promised its arrival in the second half of this year. We haven't be told the reason for the delay (it could even be a typo - see website here) but we await Sony Ericsson's response to the news.
If it does arrive in 2009, its features could be out-dated by then. Although, the flagship Xperia X1 smartphone is certainly stuffed with a strong line-up. The Windows Mobile OS is joined by a arc-slider action, a 3-inch WVGA-quality finger-led touch-screen, HSDPA download, a full QWERTY keyboard, built-in A-GPS and a three-megapixel snapper.
