Samsung Soul demoted from quad to tri-band

Well that's the rub according to Phone Scoop. Samsung supposedly announced its U900 Soul handset with worldwide quad-band roaming capabilities but has since lopped of the 850Mhz GSM frequency to make it tri-band.

This may not be a major issue for most of us but it means global travels won't be able to make calls in parts of the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Brazil. Its calling abilities now rest with GSM 900/1800/1900 + UTMS 2100 frequencies.

The U900 Soul is a dual-screen five-megapixel camphone with a magic touch panel that changes keys sccording to what feature your using.
