Palm Centro comes to Europe

Boasting a full QWERTY keyboard and a colour touch-screen, Palm hopes their latest smartphone will appeal to the consumer as well as the business type, due to its compact design. Operating on Palm OS, the black onyx device offers email, web, contact and calendar capabilities. The Centro also has the ability to be used as a modem. Simply connect the device to a laptop or PC via Bluetooth and users can enjoy wireless internet access.

The launch of the Palm Centro in Europe follows successful sales in the US where it was unveiled last year. The recommended retail price for the Palm Centro is £199.
