Fring announces free new mobile VoIP service

Fring’s new service enables anyone with a compatible handset to talk and chat with other Fring users, plus Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo! and Aim contacts for free over the mobile internet.

With the new service, Fring mobile users will be able to decide whether they connect to the mobile internet via a 3G connection or to your home or work internet via a Wi-Fi connection. As a result, you’ll need a phone which is either 3G or Wi-Fi enabled. Fring can be set to automatically switch to the best available connection.

Simply follow the download process from www.fring.com and Fring installs in minutes via an SMS message.  You can then select which of your favourite internet communities and services you wish to switch-on by entering your login details, and Fring automatically imports all your buddies from the internet into a single list which also integrates their regular mobile phone contacts.
