Sony Ericsson announces Radio range

Sony Ericsson's new Radio range sees the announcement of the R300i and R306i. Both are dedicated radio phones with the ability to broadcast both AM and FM radio, through headphones or through their dedicated loudspeaker. Each device features preset buttons allowing you to store your favourite stations. The radio can also be used as an alarm clock or even record a clip of a song from the airwaves and use it as your ringtone. TrackID features on both the R300i and R306i allowing you to identify a song from an external source in a matter of seconds.

The R300i Radio is a candybar handset that houses a built-in VGA camera. It will be available in Antique Copper or Steel Black and will begin shipping in Q2. The R306i Radio is a clamshell boasting a 1.3-megapixel camera and will be available in Coffee Black and Champagne White from Q3.
