Sony Ericsson is hedging its bets with its new brace of no-frills candy bar phones, with one phone designed for the consumer, the other for the business user.
Both phones are lookers, with a brushed light metal andglass finish, but there's one feature (or lack of) that that sets them apart.
The Sony Ericsson T280 is aimed at consumers, with its FMradio, 1.3 megapixel camera and a one-click text message launcher.
The T270, meanwhile, offers the exact same specs andfeatures as its consumer friendly sibling, except for one. There's no camera on board.
Sony Ericsson argues that, by omitting the camera on the T270, it's targeting business users looking for a simple, robust phone that's easy to use.
The T270 and T280 will both be available in silver on black and copper on silver and will launch early 2008. Watch this space!
