Sony Ericsson announces Walkman phone with GPS

The new W760, which was announced at the CES Show in Las Vegas, also features HSDPA data speeds, stereo speakers and a top racing game with Need For Speed: ProStreet.

If you need help with navigation, in addition to built in GPS, the phone lets you search over 20 million points of interest from around the world plus the means to plan a route to each one with turn by turn maps and directions.

The is a Walkman phone, so you can expect top music features like SensMe, Shake Control and TrackID and the ability to store up to 900 tracks on the phone's included iGB Memory Stick.

The W760, which also boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera, is compatible with Sony Ericsson's new Active Speaker MAS-100, a protective case for your phone which doubles up as a set of speakers with a radio antennae.

The W760 and the Active Speaker will be available from Q2 2008.
