You know a manufacturer has the female market in mind when it launches a pink or purple handset, so Motorola has hedged its bets by launching its dinky new U9 handset in both colours. The MOTO U9 range will be available in January 2008 and will arrive in metallic gloss pink and purple.
The phone features a new UI user interface, touch sensitive music controls, and CrystalTalk technology, which automatically adjusts phone volume to help ensure clear calls in noisy environments.
The handset boosts its music credentials with A2DP stereo Bluetooth, Windows Media Player and a microSD card slot to bolster the phone's 25MB of internal memory. Music pauses automatically as calls come through and users can personalise playlists and download tracks from up to 200 online music stores.
Meanwhile, the handset also delivers a two megapixel camera with 8x zoom and multi-shot feature, push email and voice recognition.
