O2 and RIM launches new Blackberry

Exclusive to O2, Blackberry aims to attract the consumer market by making the new Pearl 8120 both stylish and packed with an array of features. The Blackberry Pearl 8120 uses RIM's SureType keyboard that fits two letters on each key, thus enabling a slimmer device than the Blackberry Curve for example. The SureType keyboard system allows word completion and a built-in spell checker.

The handset is fitted with a two-megapixel camera complete with 5x digital zoom and enhanced flash. It is also capable of both video recording and Wi-Fi connectivity for faster web browsing. The device looks great and at only 91g it will fit discreetly in your pocket.

The Blackberry Pearl 8120 is available as of today from O2 UK, prices subject to tariff.
