Blackberry 8800 now on O2

Available from 5 March, the new 8800 is a smartphone packed with features, including built-in GPS and the BlackBerry Maps sat-nav application for route planning in your car and on foot.

The device features a trackball (which proved a hit on Blackberry's 8100 Pearl) for navigating the smartphone's menu. Also on board is a full QWERTY keypad, multimedia player, a high definition screen that adjusts automatically to the environment, and a large battery life, with five hours talktime and 22 days standby.

O2 will be offering the Blackberry to business customers at a variety of prices, starting from free, depending on the tariff.
