Sony Ericsson parades new accessories range

Sony Ericsson launched a host of new accessories including music trinkets to compliment its Walkman phones. First to catch the eye is the MRC-60 Music Remote Control, complete with a Walkman phone dock that connects to your hi-fi and you use the remote to skip and select tracks and volume on your handset. It will be in the shop with the next couple of months.

Next up is the MBR-100 receiver that lets your wireless stream your music from your A2DP- capable Walkman phone to your hi-fi. The receiver connects to your hi-fi system or in-car stereo via a 3.5mm input or RCA cable and should be out this month.

The MPS-70 Portable Speakers are the new improved version of the MPS-60, now with a built-in FM antenna. This will be available around Spring/Summer time.

Sony Ericsson also has two new Bluetooth headsets, the HBH-PV702 and HBH-PV710. The first is an affordable option, weighing 14g and offering 8 hours talktime and up to 200 hours standby time. It will launch in Q2. The HBH-PV710 is a little more stylish but carries a similar design. This delivers 12 hours blather time and 300 hours battery and will be up for grabs around Feb/March time.

Lastly, the HCB-120 Bluetooth in-car speaker kit connects to your phone so you can receive and make calls handsfree while driving, so not ot break the law. The HCB-120 doesn't involve any installations cost, instead it just clips on your sun visor and features a digital display, a tilt sensor and offers a marathon 24 hours talktime.
