O2's revamped Dome set to launch

O2's eponymous new entertainment venue is set to open its doors in July with Justin Timberlake and The Scissor Sisters already booked to perform. The O2 will consist of: a 20,000 capacity purpose-built music arena, which can be transformed into a sports facility within hours;  a live music club with a capacity of 2,200; an 11-screen cinema; plus an entertainment district comprising over 20 bars, restaurants and other leisure facilites.

O2 has signed a £6 million deal which has seen the venue renamed as The O2 and there will be a raft of benefits for O2 customers, including: event guides beamed out to O2 Active and O2 i-mode handsets; an O2 Experience store; 10% off the ticket price for each event; Refresh bubbles where O2 customers can recharge their phones and their batteries with a drink and a massage; and action streamed straight to O2 mobiles.
