Sony Ericsson unveils two new Walkman phones

It was the worst kept secret, after it leaked on the internet, but the slimline W880i was official revealed today by Sony Ericsson. At 9.4mm thick and crafted from stainless steel, the W880i will hit the shops at the end of this month. It has 3G-capabilites, built-in Walkman 2.0 player, a supplied 1GB MemoryStick Micro card and promises 18 hours music playback time. You can choose between Flame Black and Steel Silver finishes.

The W610i is a souped up version of the W810i sporting the new improved Walkman 2.0 player that includes album artwork support, TrackID music recognition (this include track identification through its built-in FM radio) and a slicker player interface. It also boasts a two-megapixel camera with autofocus, a supplied 512MB Memory Stick Micro card to store your tunes and is EDGE and quad-band-enabled.

The W610i will appear in Satin Black and Plush Orange livery around Spring time.
